Lin is first Taiwanese to be picked up during MLB draft
Lyle Lin (林家正) became the first Taiwanese to be picked up by a Major League Baseball (MLB) team during the American league's annual draft, after the Seattle Mariners chose the Taipei-native catcher on the final day of the MLB draft, Saturday, June 11.
