Elver chosen as CEO of Siemens, TW

Siemens Ltd., Taiwan recently announced the appointment of Erdal Elver as the firm's new president and CEO, effective July 1.
Elver started his career with Siemens in 1987. His comprehensive strategic and senior management background as well as his experience working in Asia over the past nine years perfectly fits him into this new position. Elver is committed to pursuing the sustainable development of Siemens Taiwan, its customers and partners, and the society of Taiwan.
Before 2004, Elver held various important functions and senior managerial positions, such as vice president of Business Development, vice president of Strategy & Business Excellence, and member of the Sales Management Board at Siemens headquarters in Germany. In 2004, he joined Siemens Ltd. China as vice president and general manager of Jiangsu and Anhui provinces, where he forged sustainable partnerships with local customers and strengthened Siemens' market presence.
In 2008, he was appointed to the position of president and CEO of Siemens Ltd. Vietnam, where he successfully turned Siemens into one of the most successful companies in the country with consistent double-digit business growth in direct business as well as with high profitability and free cash flow.
With his passion, expertise and experience, Elver is bound to further expand the operations of Siemens Ltd. Taiwan and strengthen its established strategic partnerships with customers, partners and the government.
