Test ride a Dahon and get a chance to win a new bikeThe Silvertip is part of Dahon's Midtown Mini series of bicycles. Utilizing Dahon's LockJaw folding hinge, Midtown Mini bikes combine the ease and convenience of a folding bicycle with the performance and frame strength of a sleek diamond frame bicycle. “Our Midtown Mini bikes represent a significant paradigm shift in folding bicycle frame design,” stated Joshua Hon, Dahon vice president. “We've combined the strength and stiffness of an ultra-compact diamond frame design with our easy-to-use LockJaw folding hinge. The result is a bike that rides and handles remarkably well.” The Silvertip is a flat bar speedster meant for fast riding. The ultra-compact frame is incredibly stiff and remarkably nimble. The 18 speed drive train and premium components from Shimano, SRAM, Schwalbe, FSA, and Kinetix keep the bike light and fast. And because it folds, it'll stash away easily inside the smallest studios and apartments. Dahon's latest lineup of bikes and accessories can be seen during the Taipei Cycle Show from Mar. 17-20, 2010 at booth M1020 and in the outdoor test ride area. | |||||||||||||
