Updated Wednesday, March 17, 2010 10:55 am TWN, The China Post news staff Dahon to showcase folding bike culture at the Taipei Cycle Show“The bicycle has become a lifestyle product,” stated Joshua Hon, Dahon's vice president, “a few years back, the bicycle was viewed merely as a piece of recreational equipment for use only on the weekends. Now, more and more people around the world are integrating bikes into their daily lives. Just look at cities like Taipei, or Seoul, or Bogota where bike culture has boomed over the last few years. Our booth this year is a reflection of how people are fitting folding bikes into their lives.” The Dahon booth in the TCS features re-creation of mini-environments in real life such as office, apartment, subway and bus scenes. Those who test ride a Dahon bike in the outdoor test area may also win Dahon accessories and gifts. A total of 894 exhibitors from Taiwan and abroad will participate in the 2010 TCS from today to Saturday at Taipei World Trade Center's Nangang Exhibition Hall, making it the biggest in its 23-year history. The show is also the largest of its kind in Asia and the third globally. Subscribe to The China Post and save 25%. Click here |
