China Steel to raise June prices, report says

TAIPEI, Taiwan -- China Steel Corp., Taiwan's largest maker of the metal, will increase prices for domestic customers by at least US$50 a metric ton in June after costs to produce steel rose, the United Evening News reported yesterday, without saying where it got the information. The steelmaker will announce June prices before April 10, the report said.
