Taiwan buys 82,350 tons of wheat from United Harvest

TAIPEI, Taiwan -- The Taiwan Flour Millers Association agreed to buy 82,350 metric tons of U.S. No. 1 wheat from United Harvest LLC in a tender yesterday, a group official said. The No. 1 wheat is a grade normally used for human consumption. The cargoes were settled on a free-on-board basis and will be shipped from the Pacific Northwest, said the official, who declined to be identified as the trade was confidential.
