2009 Leisure Taiwan to kick off July 17: TAITRA

TAIPEI, Taiwan -- The 2009 Taiwan Sports Recreation and Leisure Show (Leisure Taiwan) will kick off July 17 at the Taipei World Trade Center and will experience significant growth this year, said Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), organizer, yesterday.

This year the four-day show will have 239 exhibitors running 500 booths, double the size of the 2008 show, TAITRA said.

The show will feature not only new products but also activities such as rock climbing and roller-skating, TAITRA said.

Also highlighting the show will be the “Golf Festival with Club Testing” for golf lovers. The event will be staged by Golf Magazine, one of the show's media partners, TAITRA said.

“Leisure Taiwan is the only show that brings together the entire nation for export, export, wholesale and retail,” TAITRA said.
