The 2014 Asia Pacific Franchise Confederation (APFC) and World Franchise Council (WFC) meetings in Taipei are the first joint, international high-level meetings to be held jointly by Taipei and New Taipei City, said the Association of Chain and Franchise Promotion, Taiwan (ACFPT) in a press release yesterday.
The meetings are also part of the world's first six-in-one chain and franchising event, which combines both international meetings with the Taiwan International Chain and Franchise Exhibition, a Global Franchise Business Networking event, the International Chain and Franchise Forum and a Taiwan City Tour.
The government also lent its support to the exhibition, which is to be held from Sept. 26–29. The Taipei City Government will host special information sessions at the exhibition, and the Workforce Development Agency will offer loans to small and medium enterprises and young entrepreneurs as part of their continued support for local business.
