Two CPC Corp. workers die in apparent drowning

TAIPEI, Taiwan -- Two staff members of a CPC Corporation exploration team drowned while examining an exploration spot in a geological survey project at an estuary of Houlong River yesterday.

According to a staff person from CPC Corporation, there were five people, including two contractors and three staff members, who went on the trip to examine the site yesterday. However, when one contractor and two staff members were conducting research in the water, they fell accidentally and were washed away by the water.
