Examination Yuan head gives books to Kinmen

TAIPEI -- Examination Yuan President Kuan Chung (關中), who is set to retire at the end of August, has donated his collection of books gathered over his lifetime to National Quemoy University in the outlying island county of Kinmen, the government branch said Tuesday.

In a press release, the Examination Yuan, which administers all national exams and is responsible for civil service matters, said the collection includes more than 15,000 books covering international relations, U.S. diplomatic policies, China studies and civic service and recruitment systems.
