TAIPEI--Asia's largest computer show will focus this year on touch-enabled hardware, including in the up-and-coming field of wearable computing devices, organizers said Friday.
Computex Taipei will have a designated area for the application of touch technology, the Taipei Computer Association said, calling the tech one of the major trends in the information and communications industry.
Solutions for large-sized touch enabled panels, multi-touch, one-glass panels, handheld and wearable devices will be featured prominently at the June show, the association said.
Computex Taipei will take place at the Nangang Exhibition Hall, Taipei International Convention Center and Taipei World Trade Center Exhibition Hall 1 and Hall 3 from June 3 to 7.
The five-day computer show, the world's second largest, will feature 1,700 exhibitors and is expected to draw over 130,000 visitors, including 38,000 international buyers, according to the association.
