LOS ANGELES -- Taiwanese twin sisters Zony and Yony, who gained fame on YouTube with a series of dance videos, will dance their way onto The Ellen DeGeneres Show Wednesday (Pacific Time).
"These two are flying all the way from Taiwan to be on my show. The people on their 14-hour flight sure are lucky," DeGeneres tweeted Tuesday to her 28 million followers.
The tweet includes a link to a short video in which the excited 6-year-old sisters introduce themselves and greet the American comedian.
The twins gained fame in Taiwan after a video of them dancing to South Korean girl group Crayon Pop's song "Bar Bar Bar" dressed in scooter helmets and tutus was posted on YouTube in February.
The video has since gained over 1.6 million hits on YouTube and the girls have been invited to perform on Taiwanese TV shows.
Fan Yu-wei, the twins' manager, said the girls will perform their popular "Bar Bar Bar" dance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. They will also incorporate Taiwanese pop diva A-mei's "Sisters" into their performance, Fan said.
Meanwhile, the sisters, who departed Taiwan for Los Angeles Monday, visited Hollywood the following day.
Their dream is to visit Disneyland, which they will do after their TV appearance. It is their first visit to the United States.
