Kenyan runners triumph in two separate marathons in Taiwan

TAIPEI--Kenyan runners are often been the biggest winners in Taiwan marathons and Sunday was no exception, with the top prize in the 2014 Taipei Expressway Marathon and the Tainan Historical Capital International Marathon both going to runners from the east African country.

Joel Kiplimo Kemboi was the first past the finish line in the men's full marathon that took place on the Taipei freeway section between Wugu and Xizhi. He took the championship with a time of 2:24:00, winning a cash award of NT$100,000 (US$3,298).
