Jeremy Lin shaves Adidas logo on side of his head

TAIPEI, Taiwan -- Houston Rockets point guard Jeremy Lin has celebrated his endorsement deal with Adidas by shaving the logo of the international sporting goods brand on the side of his head.

Adidas announced late Monday that it had signed Lin, the first NBA player of Taiwanese descent, and Lin posted a short video on social media website Instagram to show his support for the brand.

The short film showed Lin's teammates Dwight Howard, Patrick Beverley and Omri Casspi each carefully shaving a bar on the side of Lin's head to form the iconic three-striped logo.

Lin joins an Adidas basketball lineup that already includes his teammate Dwight Howard, and top point guards Derrick Rose of the Chicago Bulls, Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers, John Wall of the Washington Wizards and Ricky Rubio of the Minnesota Timberwolves.
