TAIPEI, Taiwan -- Daytime and nighttime temperatures on Tuesday, Dec. 3 will vary significantly because of the influence of a northeast monsoon, the Central Weather Bureau (CWB) said yesterday.
The CWB said that due to a radiating cooling effect, morning temperatures will be low, and recommended that locals put on winter clothes in the morning and at night.
According to the CWB, daytime temperatures in Northern Taiawn will hover around 12-19 degrees Celsius; temperatures in Eastern Taiwan are forecast to circulate within 12-20 degrees Celsius, and temperatures in Southern Taiwan will fall within the range of 15-27 degrees Celsius.
The CWB said that people should pay attention to temperature changes from daytime to the evening.
The weather conditions in all areas of Taiwan tomorrow will be sunny or cloudy, according to the CWB.
The CWB said that weather conditions will not change dramatically before Thursday, Dec. 5, but there will be another cold front arriving on Dec. 6 and 7, which will lead to another predicted drop in temperatures.
