Lows in those areas may hover at around 20 degrees until Thursday, the bureau said.
Central and Southern Taiwan can expect temperatures of 22 to 30 degrees, as the effects of the winds are unlikely to extend significantly to those parts of the country, according to forecasters.
The seasonal winds may also bring showers to Northern and Northeastern Taiwan, while other parts of the country can expect mostly cloudy weather, the bureau said.
