At the 2013 Low Carbon and Sustainable City Forum, British experts in the field will give presentations on UK regulations regarding carbon emission reduction and how those rules are implemented, the British Cultural and Trade Office (BTCO) said earlier in the week.
Representatives of British companies will also discuss green growth, sustainable transport solutions, and sustainable design for architecture in urban areas, according to the forum's agenda.
Meanwhile, government officials from New Taipei, Taichung City and Kinmen County are scheduled to talk about low-carbon plans and green transport initiatives in their administrative areas.
A Taiwanese expert will also give a briefing on the development of green buildings in Taiwan at the forum, which will be held Sept. 30.
