Expect unstable weather over Moon Festival: CWB
CNATAIPEI--The public will have to depend on luck to find the moon during the Mid-Autumn Festival on Sept. 19 as Taiwan could start to see rainy weather next week due to a low pressure system, the Central Weather Bureau (CWB) said Saturday.

Showers are expected from Sept. 18 across the island, affecting especially northern and eastern Taiwan, forecasters said.
The rainy trend might continue into the weekend, bringing maximum temperatures down by 2-5 degrees Celsius across Taiwan, according to the CWB.
Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Man-Yi is not likely to affect weather in Taiwan based on its current development, the bureau said.
As of 8 a.m., the storm was centered some 1,570 km east of Taipei, according to the CWB's latest bulletin on the storm's path.
It was moving in a northwesterly direction at a speed of 28 kph and packing sustained winds of 90 kph, with gusts of up to 119 kph.
