Burkina Faso health chief on fact-finding mission
CNATAIPEI -- Burkina Faso Health Minister Lene Sebgo is visiting Taiwan to learn more about hospital management, medical worker training and cancer treatment in the country, a Taiwanese official said yesterday.

During his Aug. 18-22 visit, Sebgo is scheduled to meet with Deputy Health Minister Lin Tzou-yien and visit several local hospitals, including Puli Christian Hospital and Changhua Christian Hospital, said Winston Hu, deputy director-general of the Foreign Ministry's Department of West Asian and African Affairs.
The minister was also scheduled to pay a visit to Taipei-based Koo Foundation Sun Yat-sen Cancer Center to learn more about its treatment of cancer patients, he added.
“This is an opportunity to explore future bilateral cooperation in the areas of medical training, hospital management, cancer treatment and Chinese medicine,” he said.
