Serviceman injured in fall from military building
The China Post news staffTAIPEI, Taiwan -- A military serviceman was injured from a fall off a Defense Ministry building in Taipei yesterday, police said.

The 21-year-old serviceman is believed to have fallen out a dorm window on the third floor and landed on a lawn at the ministry's General Affairs Bureau on Chishan Road, police said.
He sustained injuries to the back of his head and there were no other visible external injuries, the police said, adding that he remained conscious when the paramedics arrived.
An investigation into the cause of the accident is underway, the police said.
