As the retail chain Buynow — a 3C product retail operator located in China — owns plenty of property, an alternative for the retail chain to raise funds is that it will issue real estate investment trusts (REITs), a derivative, which repackages property assets into securities.
Clevo said the retail chain operator is scheduled to finalize its fund-raising plan in the fourth quarter of this year.
Buynow was founded in China in 1998 and has so far opened 22 stores in more than 10 Chinese cities, including Shanghai, Beijing, Hangzhou, Chongqing, Qingdao, Chengzhou and Xiamen.
