Survey finds local people willing to spend more on travel during holidayCNA TAIPEI -- The vast majority of Taiwanese families planning to travel for the Lunar New Year holiday will spend as much as or more on their trips this year as they did last year, according to the results of a poll released yesterday.
February 6, 2013, 11:46 am TWN In the survey conducted by the Taipei-based Commerce Development Research Institute, over 80 percent and 85 percent of those who plan to travel domestically and overseas, respectively, have similar or bigger budgets than last year. Among the households surveyed, those planning to travel around Taiwan have an average budget of NT$13,558, while those planning to fly overseas have an average budget of NT$82,258, the survey showed. |
