HTC phone users can play PlayStation games for free
CNATAIPEI, Taiwan -- Some cross-platform gaming services from Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. of Japan are now available free of cost for a limited period of time on certain HTC devices, according to the Taiwanese smartphone maker.

Starting Jan. 30, HTC customers in nine countries using HTC smartphones with Sense 4 software or higher can download one free game from PlayStation Mobile per week through the end of February, the company said on its official blog.
PlayStation Mobile is available for HTC devices running Sense 4 software or higher in Japan, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, France, Italy, Germany, Spain and Australia, according to the blog.
HTC became the first non-Sony vendor to support the PlayStation Certificate program in June 2012. The program now includes only a few handset brands such as Sony Mobile Communications AB, Sharp Corp. of Japan and HTC.
