Cooler weather forecast from later in week: CWB

TAIPEI--The current mild weather across Taiwan is expected to last only until Wednesday, after which a southward moving cold air mass from China will bring temperatures down again, the Central Weather Bureau (CWB) said yesterday.

Sunny weather with some clouds will prevail across Taiwan on Monday, with highs of 24 to 25 degrees Celsius, the bureau said.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, stronger seasonal winds are likely to bring the daily highs down to 20 degrees in northern Taiwan, 23 degrees in central Taiwan, the bureau forecast.

Occasional showers can be expected in northern and eastern Taiwan, it said.
