More than 3,000 expected to attend funeral service for Koo

In addition to Lee, Chinatrust said that former Vice President Vincent Siew, Indonesia's ex-President Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie, as well as many other local and foreign dignitaries will also attend the service.

The company cited President Ma Ying-jeou lauding Koo as an “invisible pair of wings” flying abroad frequently to expand Taiwan's international economic ties.

Koo died in the United States last month due to illness.
