More than 3,000 expected to attend funeral service for KooThe China Post news staff TAIPEI, Taiwan -- A funeral service for Jeffrey Koo Sr, the late founder of Chinatrust Financial Holdings, will be held in Taipei today, with more than 3,000 people, including former President Lee Teng-hui, expected to attend, the company said.

The company cited President Ma Ying-jeou lauding Koo as an “invisible pair of wings” flying abroad frequently to expand Taiwan's international economic ties. Koo died in the United States last month due to illness. |
