Warmer weather expected, another cold front forecastCNA TAIPEI--Temperatures across Taiwan could rise significantly Wednesday as a cold air mass weakens, the Central Weather Bureau said Tuesday.
January 2, 2013, 12:02 am TWN Daily highs could reach 21-25 degrees Celsius island-wide, with rainfall likely in Northern and Eastern Taiwan, the bureau said. According to forecasters, the mercury could hover between 14-20, 14-23 and 15-25 degrees in northern, central and southern Taiwan, respectively. However, another cold front is expected to arrive Thursday and could again send lows plunging to 12 degrees in Northern Taiwan until the following day, the bureau said.
