15 hotels in Taiwan awarded for excellent service by Agoda

TAIPEI -- Fifteen hotels in Taipei, Taichung and Kaohsiung have been given Gold Circle Awards, which recognize hotels that lead by example in the competitive hospitality industry, an online hotel service said yesterday.

Agoda.com, a leading hotel booking site in Asia, said that its awards are based on criteria including aggregate scores for customer reviews, top-performing properties, competitive pricing, and for showing an understanding of the complex business dynamics that define the industry.

The 15 hotels, which are among 494 award-winning hotels around the world to be given the awards, included seven from Taipei, three from Taichung and five from Kaohsiung.
