No winners for NT$1.08 billion lotto jackpot

The winning numbers are 03, 06, 11, 16, 21, 35 plus the supplementary number 02. While no one won the jackpot, two lucky winners walked away with the second prize of NT$10.84 million each.

The NT$1.08 billion jackpot was the third biggest in Super Lotto history, and is expected to surge to NT$1.3 billion next Monday, when the next draw is conducted.

The biggest-ever jackpot of NT$1.56 billion was won by a single lucky player on July 30 this year.

Despite the frigid weather, players began lining up outside lottery stores across the country yesterday morning.

'Lucky' Numbers

A station operator in Taipei's Shilin District said that one customer even went so far as to spend NT$100,000 on buying tickets based on a combination of selected “lucky” numbers in the hope of winning the jackpot.
