TAIPEI--Taiwanese Candie Kung stood at sixth with an 8-under 208 after the third round of the Lorena Ochoa Invitational golf tournament in Mexico on Saturday, while her compatriot Yani Tseng struggled.

Kung, ranked No. 62 in the world, led in the first round with a 6-under 66. On the third day of the event at the Guadalajara Country Club, she carded 1-under 71 after firing three birdies and two bogeys.

She bogeyed on the second, fifth and tenth, hit a rare triple-bogey on the par-4 fourth, before birding on the 13th and 16th, to tie for 27th with a combined 1-over 217.
