Magnitude 5.1 earthquake rattles East Taiwan: CWBCNA TAIPEI--An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale struck eastern Taiwan at 4:49 p.m. Saturday, but no casualties were immediately reported, according to the Central Weather Bureau (CWB).

The strongest tremor, with an intensity of 2.0, was felt in areas including Heping Township in Hualien County and Nanao Township in Yilan County.
