The coolness is expected to be most strongly felt in Northern and Northeastern Taiwan, the bureau said, adding that occasional showers are likely to last from Wednesday until Friday.
According to bureau forecasts, the mercury next week may hover between 18-28, 20-29 and 21-31 degrees in Northern, Central and Southern Taiwan, respectively.
As the seasonal winds will be the strongest to arrive so far this autumn, the bureau cautioned the public to be prepared for changing temperatures.
