Tseng disappointed with 55th place in Japan Open

TAIPEI -- World No. 1 female golfer Yani Tseng of Taiwan saw her hopes of recovering from a recent slump dashed after she fired a disappointing final round of nine-over 81 to finish tied for 55th in the Japan Women's Open Golf Championship in Yokohama Sunday.

The final round of the tournament was divided into two parts in terms of Tseng's performance. The 23-year old, who entered the final tied for 29th place, was steady on the front nine, shooting one birdie and carding two bogeys.
