Bad English makes for not so good trip for S. KoreansThe China Post news staff A survey of satisfaction ratings given by tourists who visit Taiwan, conducted by the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (交通部觀光局), has found that South Korean tourists are only 75 percent satisfied with their trips, much lower that other the 94.39 percent average of other nationalities.
September 30, 2012, 12:05 am TWN The number one reason for low satisfaction ratings by South Korean tourists was their perception of Taiwanese people as having very poor English language skills. South Korean tourists have increased 12 percent from last year, breaking the record for the highest number to visit Taiwan in a year, reaching 240,000 South Korean tourists.
