Taiwan designers to show works in NY fashion week

The exhibitions during New York Fashion Week, which runs Sept. 6-13, will present spectators the culture and the creativity of Taiwan's fashion industry, it added.

Indigenous designer Andre Kao will showcase his collection that features elements of Taiwan's aboriginal, contemporary and pop cultures, said the federation, which headed the group to New York. In addition, Eve Lin, who held a well-received exhibition in London in 2010, will present her first menswear line, while Fala Chien, the founder of the brands of “Play with Fala” and “Fala by Fala Chien” will show off creations featuring different images of women, the federation said.
