US dollar closes at NT$29.715 while TAIEX closes up 0.03% to 7,485.13

TAIPEI -- The U.S. dollar fell against the Taiwan dollar yesterday, shedding NT$0.025 to close at NT$29.715.

Turnover totaled US$777 million during the trading session.

The U.S. unit opened at NT$29.760 and moved between NT$29.620 and NT$29.769 before the close.

Taiwan share prices closed up 2.39 points or 0.03 percent at 7,485.13 yesterday.

Turnover totaled NT$66.69 billion during the trading session.
