Garment and textile firms take part in mainland fair

TAIPEI--A Taiwanese delegation is in China to attend an international garment and textile exhibition, according to the Taiwan Textile Federation (TTF) on Saturday.

Taiwan's presence at the China (Dalian) International Garment & Textile Fair, which runs Sept. 8-11 in the northeastern Chinese city of Dalian, is expected to demonstrate the country's strength in the global textile market, said the TTF, which heads the delegation.

The Taiwan delegation, which is composed of representatives from 12 design brands, is operating a special pavilion under the banner “Taipei in Style.” The dozen brands include JoanneKitten, Merma, Talent Yarn, Anymore, What-Z, Chrystal Anne, YuLin, Dleet, and Glenn Michibata.
