Greenback increases NT$0.046 to end trading day at NT$29.920 on Taipei foreign exchange

TAIPEI -- The U.S. dollar fell against the Taiwan dollar yesterday, shedding NT$0.046 to close at NT$29.920.

Turnover totaled US$456 million during the trading session.

The U.S. unit opened at the day's high of NT$29.970, off a low of NT$29.875 before the close.
