Unstable weather pattern expected next week: gov'tCNA TAIPEI--An unstable weather pattern is expected island-wide next week, with afternoon downpours expected despite sunny skies throughout the day, the Central Weather Bureau said Saturday.

Higher temperatures are also expected across Taiwan, the bureau said, with daily maximums ranging between 33 and 34 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, a tropical low is currently forming near Guam, but its development remains unclear at the moment, the bureau said.
