Yani Tseng to face Tiger in charity golf tournament

The China Post news staff--Yani Tseng, the No. 1 female player in the world and who is also from Taiwan, will play in a charity game at the Turning Stone Resort during the fifth annual Notah Begay III Foundation Challenge which is slated to start later today.

Tiger Woods is expected to be part of the 12-player lineup billed as an East vs. West challenge in the event. In addition to Woods, the West squad will include PGA Tour players Rickie Fowler and Gary Woodland as well as LPGA player Cristie Kerr and Lexi Thompson.

The East team features Yani Tseng and five South Korean players: Se Ri Pak, Y.E. Yang, Danny Lee, Charlie Wi and K.J. Choi. The game is expected to begin at 11 p.m. Taipei time.
