Yani Tseng bows out of Jamie Farr Toledo Classic

TAIPEI--Top-ranked female golfer Yani Tseng was eliminated from the Jamie Farr Toledo Classic tournament in Sylvania, Ohio Friday after posting a total 1-over par 143 in the first two rounds.

The Taiwanese star finished at 1-over, tied for 90th in the first round. Struggling in low gear, Tseng failed to rebound in the second round, shooting down three birdies but swallowing three bogeys over the 18 holes at Highland Meadows to finish on par.

This is the third time Tseng has been cut from a tournament after the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship in the United States in late June and the July 26-29 Evian Masters in France.
