US dollar sheds NT$0.004 to end trading day at NT$29.956

TAIPEI -- The U.S. dollar fell against the Taiwan dollar yesterday, shedding NT$0.004 to close at NT$29.956.

Turnover totaled US$605 million during the trading session.

The U.S. unit opened at the day's high of NT$29.960, off a low of NT$29.820 before the close.
