Kaohsiung, Japanese city to boost low-carbon tech

Lee Mu-sheng, director of the Kaohsiung Environmental Protection Bureau, said he hopes the city will achieve urban transformation and establish a low-carbon city model through collaboration with an alliance of councilors from Kitakyushu-shi, Japan.

Japanese city councilor Mori Shiroaki, heading a delegation of six other councilors, signed the agreement with Lee at a ceremony in the southern Taiwan city.

Shiroaki said he hopes to see strengthening of the relations between Kaohsiung and Kitakyushu.
