US dollar increases by NT$0.004 to end at NT$29.890 on Taipei forex

TAIPEI -- The U.S. dollar rose against the Taiwan dollar yesterday, gaining NT$0.004 to close at NT$29.890.

Turnover totaled US$570 million during the trading session.

The U.S. unit opened at NT$29.900 and moved between NT$29.840 and NT$29.910 before the close.
