Taiwan to host monitor, LED, panel cross-strait conference

A 90-member Chinese delegation, headed by Industry and Information Technology Vice Minister Yang Xueshan, will attend the conference, the organizers said.

The delegation includes China Video Industry Association President Bai Weimin and representatives of Chinese enterprises Skyworth, TCL Corp., Tencent and Sina Corp.

The conference will bring together influential leaders in the panel industry on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, according to the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) that is organizing the event.

During the conference, Taiwan's HTC Corp. is expected to forge partnerships with both the Tencent Group and Sina.
