US dollar sheds NT$0.045 to end trading day at NT$29.886

TAIPEI -- The U.S. dollar fell against the Taiwan dollar yesterday, shedding NT$0.045 to close at NT$29.886.

Turnover totaled US$735 million during the trading session.

The U.S. unit opened at the day's high of NT$29.935, off a low of NT$29.770 before the close.
