CAL, Chunghwa Telecom ink cooperation pactThe “Chunghwa Telecom and China Airlines Strategic Alliance Memorandum of Understanding” governs the strategic partners' collaboration on cloud-based information, e-commerce, and reciprocal customer benefits. By bringing together Chunghwa Telecom's global voice and data networks, the Internet of Things (IOT) and integrated ICT cloud services with CAL's know-how, influence, and experience throughout the travel and tourism service supply chain, the alliance will accelerate the development of ICT applications in travel and tourism, as well as cargo and logistics. In addition to promoting an intelligent travel and tourism industry, CAL and Chunghwa Telecom will cooperate on reciprocal member benefits, which will not only expand each company's customer base but will also raise customer satisfaction and boost the firms' competitive advantages and shareholder value. CAL said in the statement that the two companies share a common strategic goal of introducing innovative services.
