KAOHSIUNG--The Kaohsiung City government has invited the public to attend a Rainbow Bay Music Festival at the True Love Harbor in Kaohsiung, where more than 50 local singers will take the stage over three days from Oct. 8 to celebrate the Republic of China Double Ten National Day.
The artist line-up features local singers such as Bobby Chen, Tanya Chua, Hebe, aboriginal rockers the Sun Eagles, singer-songwriter Deserts Chang and Japanese rock band 9mm Parabellum Bullet.
The 5-hectare venue includes four stages, a bazaar featuring creative products, and a food section selling various popular delicacies.
To entice people from northern Taiwan to attend, Da Da Arts — one of the organizers of the event — has launched a budget ticket package in cooperation with the Taiwan High Speed Rail that includes a 20-percent discount for a round-trip ticket and entry to the festival.
