China state-owned firms delegation to visit TaiwanHuang Wen-jung, deputy secretary-general of the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), said the delegation will be led by Chen Jian, China's vice minister of commerce. Members will include Wang Liaoping, chairman for the Association of Economy and Trade Across the Taiwan Strait (AETATS), and Wang Zheng, deputy chief of the Department of Economy under the Taiwan Affairs Office. During the six-day visit, the delegation will visit major Taiwanese enterprises in northern and central Taiwan and attend a conference on cross-Taiwan Strait business strategies on Sept. 27, Huang said. The meeting will be co-hosted by TAITRA and the AETATS, he added. Representatives from the Bank of China, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, China Mobile, Sinochem Corporation and Tong Ren Tang will also attend the conference. | |||||||||||||
