In the scenario, China launches an attack on Taiwan from Guangdong and Nanjing military zones, the officials said. “Various branches of the military will conduct mock counterattacks aimed at honing combat strategies and battlefield management tactics during the simulation,” said Defence Ministry spokesman Yu Sy-tue.
