Approximately 455 tickets were sold per second, they continued. Local reporters said Taiwan Railways' tickets booking system crashed on March 18 due to technical difficulties that Chunghwa Telecom encountered. Officials of the railway company said they used a supporting system on March 19 and people were still able to purchase train tickets.
